Daniel Stevens

Biography:

Since a very young age, Daniel has been heavily involved in Athletics. He started off in triathlons, eventually gravitating his way into the sport of cycling. He competed at a very high and elite national level, accumulating many sponsors and awards. In addition, he was coached by the same coaching team (Carmichael Training Systems) as multiple Tour de France Champion Lance Armstrong.

As time went on, he became more and more interested in weight training and now is involved in the sport of bodybuilding. In addition to being an NPC competitive bodybuilder, Daniel founded Daniel Stevens Personal Training (one of Rockford’s only private personal training studios) in August of 2008 and started Premier Fitness in December of 2011. He is also an Optimum Nutrition and American Bodybuilding sponsored athlete and is currently coached by IFBB Professional Bodybuilder, George Farah. To aid in contest preperation and training, Daniel also regularly works with one of Illinois' only IFBB Professional Bodybuilders, Chuck Sanow. Daniel currently holds three certifications from one of the industry’s leaders in fitness certifications, ISSA. Daniel also has a B.S. in Economics from Northern Illinois University to go in conjunction with his love for the business world and investing.

 

 

Brooke Janczak

Certifications/schooling:

  • Certified Personal Trainer (ACE)
  • Currently pursuing a BS degree in nursing at Rockford College.
  • Attended the University of Illinois at Chicago to study Kinesiology with a focus in exercise and fitness for 3 years.

Areas of expertise:

Functional resistance training, focusing on weight loss along with lean muscle gains, strength training for women and dancers, working with older adults to improve overall range of motion, balance, flexibility, and strength. Believes that women need to start lifting more!

Biography:

Has 18 years of dance experience. Ten of which were on a competitive level; including traveling to multiple cities within the United States, as well as countries throughout Europe. Taught at the Dance Source at GAR, former Boylan high school cheerleader and dancer, dancer for the Rockford Rampage dance team, as well as the University of Illinois at Chicago’s dance team, helped coach and choreograph for Rockford Christian’s cheer/dance team.

Studied dance for a year at Columbia College Chicago as a freshman, then was also accepted into Point Park University’s Jazz dance program with a full scholarship. A knee injury caused her to give up a dance career and pursue an interest in fitness. Has teaching, coaching, and choreography experience.

 

 

Jordan Seward

Explosive speed training, plyometric training, strength training, core and stability training.

Biography:

I am a professional BMX racer and have been racing since I was 5 years old. I've been racing professionally since I was 18 years old. Since the debut of my sport in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, I have been one of the hopefuls for the U.S. for the 2012 London Games. I was the first racer from the Midwest to be invited to the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.

Training, preparing myself for my races and events, and doing what it takes to compete and remain an elite athlete is what sparked an interest in me to train others and assist others in achieving their personal health goals. All the hard work I have had to put in over the years in my racing career has instilled in me a lot of great knowledge in health and fitness and most of all sport specific training.

I’m a certified personal trainer through W.I.T.S (World Instructor Training Schools) and I am currently studying and working toward more useful knowledge and certifications. My unparalleled work ethic and the mental strength it takes to develop that is the main tool that I will use in helping and training my clients. I look forward to meeting more peopled interested in taking up a healthier lifestyle and I cannot wait to assist you on each step of your journey of going beyond your so called boundaries and limits.
